Be Still and Know that I am God

The title of this post is from Psalm 46:10 KJV – King James version. It is meant to not only grab your attention, but also to move you to action, inaction, or in this case: BOTH. Inaction in the sense of being still. The NASB95 version translates “be still” as “cease striving.” We should cease striving to do everything all at once. Take 5 minutes to stop and look at God’s beauty all around you. The action part of the verse is to know the He is God. We should want to know Him deeper and appreciate everything He has done for us in the past and will do for us in the future. His ways and thoughts are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Trust Him! Read your Bible and take note of all the times He came through for His people. Also note the promises that He will protect and provide for us (Psalm 100:3-5, Psalm 103:1-5, Philippians 4:19, John 10:14)

He is a loving Father who has provided extensive beauty all around us. Consider the beauty in the photos below and thank Him for creating a wonderful place to live on earth.

God is love. So above all else, let love be the beautiful prize for which you run (1 Corinthians 13:13 TPT). Jesus is Lord.
